Feeling overwhelmed?   

Here are a few techniques to reduce the feeling of overwhelm and help you feel more grounded.
Body sweep
Start by placing your hands on the top of your head, gently slide your hands down over your face, upper body, mid-body, legs and feet. Pull off and throw (the energy) into a fire. (Imagine a fire a couple of feet in front of you). Start again at the top of your head and go down the sides of your body to your feet. Then do your back, then arms. Each time throw it in the fire.
Heart Focused breathing
Hand on heart center, breathing at a comfortable pace, while keeping your focus on your heart
Water Cleanse
Imagine a water fall going over your head and entire body, cleansing your energy field. you can also do this in the shower (actually with the water). Imagine the debris going down a river away from you or down the drain.
Imagine yourself sitting or standing against a tree and allow yourself to feel supported by the tree. Feel the earth beneath you. Allow yourself to feel supported by the earth.
Release what's not yours
Put your hand on your heart center and say “All that belongs to others, I send to them now. All that is mine I keep. I ask any overwhelming feelings to step back. Thank you.”
